Litigation: Patent infringement defense; witness interviews; witness preparations; discovery negotiations, motions and oral hearings. Drafting complaints, subpoenas, motions, requests for production, interrogatories, and deposition strategies. Conducting due diligence and patent analyses.

Client consultation: Patent, trade secret, copyright, trademark, unfair competition, licensing; prior art analyses; non-infringement opinions; portfolio management and confidentiality, mutual confidentiality, employment invention and employee proprietary information agreements.

TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE

Mr. Schubert has over six years of engineering experience in electrical engineering design, specification, procurement, and testing, in applications including offshore oil platforms; on-shore processing plants; floating storage and production vessels; and chemical processing plants, of control circuitry; telecommunication and intra-plant communication systems; power equipment; and electrical and fiber optic data communications. Mr. Schubert also has extensive experience in engineering analyses and software including programmable logic controller operation flow charts and software design; electrical design software; and engineering analysis and data mgt. software.
